I've experienced a number of those myself as well as "Why didn't they just say so at school..." This book will not replace an EE education but it will supplement it nicely. I did notice some careless errors, like for the parallel resistance equation (should be 1/Rt=1/R1+1/R2+...) or where| |"Ashby takes a very practical approach, including a chapter on using tools, and he doesn't leave off on how to use soldering irons.
